Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity to be a team leader and fabricator in one of New Zealands well established transport repair companies. 

This is a full time position with the intention of becoming a permanent team member. 

Daily workflow will consist of working on the tools, being on the shop floor and delegating duties to the team.

What we need from you:
Minimum 10 years experience in transport fabrication
Previous experience in a management role
2 Work references

You daily duties may include but not be limited to:

Engineering & Fabrication 

• Certified welding
• All structural repairs
• Chassis alterations
• On-site & in house (LT400)
• Refurbishments
• Body alterations/Swaps 
• Skid plate replacements
• Drawbar & toweye replacements
• Tractor unit setup and conversions

Curtainsider Repairs

• Repairs & replacements; walls, doors, roofs
• Curtain repairs & replacements
• Pelmet replacement 
• Replacement guards, flaps, toolboxes
• Refurbishments
• Mezzanine floor & support pole fabrication or repair

Servicing & Maintenance

• Scheduled maintenance
• ABS/EBS brake diagnostics, installations and repairs
• Independent testing lane for VCA & COF inspections (Hamilton only) 
• Electrical repairs
• Running gear repairs and servicing
