Tradestaff Wellington is seeking an experienced STMS (Site Traffic Management Supervisor) for ongoing work with a reputable civil infrastructure client based in Upper Hutt. This is a great opportunity for someone local who wants consistent hours, strong rates, and to be part of a solid crew.

About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for planning, setting up, supervising, and managing traffic management operations across civil infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where safety, communication, and efficiency are key.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and managing traffic management crews on-site
• Setting up, maintaining, and removing TMPs (Traffic Management Plans)
• Ensuring full compliance with CoPTTM and health & safety regulations
• Conducting site audits and completing required documentation
• Liaising with site supervisors, clients, and crew members
• Maintaining a strong safety culture at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• Current STMS qualification (Level 1 minimum – higher level advantageous)
• Proven experience working in civil infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of CoPTTM and traffic management standards
• Full Class 1 driver licence (Class 2 advantageous)
• Reliable, organised, and confident leading a team
• Ability to start ASAP
