Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced STMS with Cat A, B, and C qualifications to join our well-established clients. As an STMS, you will oversee traffic management operations on various roadwork sites, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant regulations. This temporary position requires proficiency in managing complex traffic scenarios efficiently.
- Plan, implement, and monitor traffic management plans.
- Supervise and manage traffic control personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure traffic management practices are followed.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to traffic management activities.
- Respond to and manage any traffic-related incidents or emergencies.
- Current and valid STMS qualification with Cat A, B, and C endorsements.
- Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence Class 1 as a minimum, Class 2 preferred. Restricted licences are not accepted.
- Strong English language skills, both spoken and written.
- Proven experience in traffic management on roadwork sites, with references from two previous employers.
- Strong understanding of traffic management regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Effective communication skills with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using traffic management planning software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
