Solar General Labourer – Waikato Region

Tradestaff Hamilton is looking for reliable, hard-working Solar General Labourers to join a commercial solar farm project in the Waikato. This project has already started and will run through to April 2026, so we need individuals who can commit for the duration and show up every day.
 
What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with solar panel installation
• General site clean-up
• Heavy lifting and manual handling
• Pulling cable

 
Pay Rates:

$28–29 per hour depending on skills, role, and experience
 
Site locations (approx. travel times from key towns):

• 20 mins from Morrinsville
• 24 mins from Te Aroha
• 49 mins from Hamilton
• 51 mins from Thames
• 53 mins from Huntly
• 44 mins from Cambridge

 
What you’ll need:

• Photo ID (no exceptions)
• CV and 2 recent work references we can contact regarding your work history, attitude, and reliability
• Own reliable transport and at least a restricted driver’s licence
• Fit, strong, and able to lift heavy objects
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and consent to ongoing random testing
