Roofer

This skilled roofer role is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established company here in Hawkes Bay. As an experienced roofer you will assist the team with all the construction duties to ensure the end product is of the high standard this business is known for.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing roofing, flashings and rainwater systems according to the NZ Building standards
• Keep all workplaces and sites clean and tidy
• Liaise with co-workers, customers and other trade workers in a polite manner
• Be responsible for your own working tools and gear
• Read and follow instructions, and solve math equations

You will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working at heights and in roofing, flashings and rainwater systems
• Basic knowledge and understanding of English and maths and be able to follow instructions
• Be physically fit and able to complete all tasks required
• Have the ability to pass a pre employment drug test and random ones throughout your employment
• Have a current site safe and safety at heights training certificates
