Are you a skilled painter looking for exciting opportunities? Look no further! Tradestaff Wellington is on the hunt for talented painters to join our team of experts.

We require experienced painters to work on a wide variety of residential and commercial developments.
 
Your tasks will include but not limited to;

• Erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering
• Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
• Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives
• Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays
• Hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges
• may repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames

 
Ideally, you will have:

 

• Minimum 3+ years experience and/or Trade Qualification
• Class 1 licence
• At least contactable 2 work references
• 100% commitment to Health and Safety
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Valid current work visa or rights to work in NZ
• Proficiency in surface preparation, colour mixing, and application techniques

In return we offer competitive rates of pay, varied and challenging work, regular hours with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, as well as long-term opportunities.

Pay range $30 - $40 depending on experience
