What you’ll be doing:
- Completing interior and exterior painting work on residential and commercial properties
- Prepping surfaces through sanding, filling, and priming to ensure a professional finish
- Working on refurbishment and renovation projects throughout the city
- Using brushes, rollers, and sprayers as appropriate for the task
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy, while following all safety procedures
- Collaborating with other trades on-site as required
- Trade qualification in painting
- At least 3 years of recent painting experience
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Good knowledge of site safety practices
- Reliable transport to get to and from site
- Able to work unsupervised and meet job deadlines
- $30–32 per hour (paid weekly)
- A steady flow of varied painting work across Christchurch
