Job: Office Assistant
Location: North Shore
Pay: $28-$30p/hr experience dependent

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team and gain experience in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided on systems and processes.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Use ERP software (EXONET) to raise purchase orders, create and manage stock codes, and build Bills of Materials
  • Build and maintain a structured ordering spreadsheet to ensure timely procurement and delivery aligned with production schedules
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and contractors, including the use of online portals and making credit card payments
  • Perform general office support tasks including: Data entry and data management, stocktaking and picking parts, managing inventory and storage, selling obsolete components on third-party auction platforms, assisting with process documentation.
  • You may be required to assist with delivery/pick up’s driving a company vehicle
Requirements:
  • legally eligible to work in New Zealand
  • Full class 1 driving license is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Has strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate level essential), and ideally has experience with Microsoft Teams and/or SharePoint
  • Enthusiastic about learning new skills and improving workflows
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
