Landscaper

Landscaper | $26-$28 per hour

Tradestaff are seeking an experienced landscaper to join our team for an immediate start!

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar role.
• Solid understanding of plants, trees, and landscaping materials.
• Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Ability to interpret and execute landscape designs and plans.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certification in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and caring for plants, shrubs, and lawns by watering, fertilizing, and trimming.
• Mowing, edging, and maintaining lawns using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Planting flowers, trees, and shrubs according to landscape designs.
• Installing and repairing irrigation systems as needed.
• Removing debris and ensuring cleanliness of outdoor spaces.
• Collaborating with landscape designers and other team members to achieve project goals.
• Following safety guidelines and maintaining equipment in good working order.
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing client concerns professionally.

Successful applicants must:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have 2 ready work references
• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.

Please note that our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
