Joiner

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified joiner to join one of Christchurch's busiest joinery companies. 

For the right person this will be an immediate start.

You will be working on a range of products and projects specialising in architectural and commercial work. This role is based in the work shop. 

What you will be doing:

• Assemble and sand cabinets to a high standard.
• Read and interpret plans and drawings for cabinet making and joinery.
• Utilize a variety of materials including HPL, LPL, veneers, MDF, solid timber, PVC, acrylics, glues, fixings, hardware, and different finishes.
• Apply joinery techniques in crafting and assembling wood structures and components.

Skills required:

• Proven experience as a joiner, with expertise in all stages of joinery, including installations.
• Proficiency in timber work and a strong understanding of woodworking techniques.
• Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Dedication to quality, precision, and customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to adapt to project requirements and deadlines
