Forklift Operator / Yard Hand – Immediate Start – $27–$30 | Belfast, Christchurch

We’re looking for a reliable Forklift Operator / Yard Hand to join a busy team working within a construction supply environment based in Belfast, Christchurch.
This is a varied role that combines forklift operation with hands-on yard and labouring duties.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating a forklift while also getting involved with the team to keep the site running smoothly.
Applicants with construction, yard, or building supply experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials safely around the yard and site
• Assist with site logistics and material handling
• Support the team with general yard duties and labouring tasks
• Lift and move materials up to 20kg when required
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
• Follow site health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience

• Current forklift licence required
• Previous forklift experience in construction, yard, warehouse, or industrial environments
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
