We are looking for Fire Alarm Technicians with background knowledge and experience with the following (but are not limited to):- Installation of fire alarm systems in various buildings including mounting alarms, detectors, control panels and other components
- Inspection and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure they are in working order and to diagnose faults
- Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment, components and instruments
- Reassembling, testing, operating and adjusting systems, equipment and components
- Routine maintenance to keep systems in good working condition
- Troubleshooting and repairs - ability to diagnose the problem and make necessary repairs or install replacements
- System Upgrades – ensuring existing systems are upgraded to meet current safety standards
- Code compliance - using correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions and to ensure that fire alarm systems are installed and maintained in compliance with relevant codes
- Accurate record keeping – ensuring documentation is up to date and maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, maintenance activities and any repairs or upgrades made to systems
Ideally, you will be or have:- Relevant level 4 qualification or 3 years relevant minimum exprience
- Your own tools
- Own reliable transport
- At least 2 work references
- 100% commitment to Health & Safety
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test

Pay rates range from $29.66 - $32.00 per hour
