We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in South Auckland. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and expertise in servicing heavy and medium diesel vehicles. As part of the role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring vehicles are operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on heavy and medium diesel vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Perform thorough inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.
- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle systems and components.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Drive trucks around the yard as needed, requiring a Class 5 manual license.
- Qualified with previous experiance
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a focus on heavy and medium diesel vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Class 5 manual license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
