Curtain Side Technician

Tradestaff Christchurch looking for a hands-on Curtain Side Technician to join our growing team in a long-term role with an immediate start. If you're an engineering all-rounder with experience in fabrication, welding, and fitting, this could be the opportunity for you. This role is based out in Hornby. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building, installing, and repairing curtain side systems on trailers and commercial vehicles
• Light fabrication work, fitting components, and MIG welding
• Prepping and modifying curtain side frames and panels
• Working closely with other technicians to meet daily targets
• No technical drawings required – just practical, hands-on skills

What We’re Looking For:

• A confident engineering all-rounder
• Experience in fabrication, MIG welding, and fitting
• Comfortable working without technical drawings
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player
• High attention to detail and takes pride in quality work
