Core Shed Worker

We’re looking for reliable workers to join an upcoming project at Oceana Gold’s Macraes site. This role is ideal for someone with warehousing or similar experience who’s keen to get involved in a physical, hands-on job in the mining sector.

Location: Dunedin, Otago
Start date: Tuesday, 4 November 2025 
Pay rate: $28 per hour (paid weekly)

Your role will involve:

• Relocating rock core pallets
• Extracting rock cores from container trays
• Stockpiling rock cores for future crushing
• Disposing of empty container trays
• Dismantling shelving inside the core shed

To be successful, you’ll need:

• A current valid forklift licence/Ticket. 
• Previous experience in warehousing or similar environments
• Good physical fitness and reliability

This project runs for 4 weeks initially, with day shift hours (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday) and the potential to extend depending on progress.
