Our client is a Christchurch based company who have been delivering high quality fitting and furnishing services for over 30 years on a national level and they’re looking for the next key account/commercial sales consultant to join their team. 
 
With a state-of-the-art new working space in development, they are looking for someone who can thrive in being busy and are passionate about sales. Offering an opportunity to grow within an evolving business under an employer who is ready and willing to invest in you for the long term.

As the new commercial sales consultant, you will not be afraid to get out, knock-on doors and make cold sales calls. You will proactively manage new business and prospecting opportunities whilst maintaining and developing existing customer relationships. Your clients will range from architects and builders to large hotel chains.

You will achieve sales targets through professional planning, relationship management, proactively chasing leads and applying your knowledge to meet the customer’s needs. You will manage the ordering, measuring, and sourcing of the products whilst liaising with our commercial clients for delivery and installation.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate that you have:
 
  • Previous sales and account management experience – advantageous if within fitting and furnishing sector
  • Resilience and self-discipline
  • Great attention to detail and accountability
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy and numeracy skills
  • The ability to organise and prioritise your workload effectively
  • Ability to work to deadlines and sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and business development skills to manage new/existing clients
  • Wiling to travel
