Cleaner

We’re looking for a reliable Public Area Cleaner to manage the cleaning and upkeep of public facilities across Napier.
This role plays a key part in maintaining high hygiene standards across facilities used by the wider community.

Location: CBD and surrounding areas, Napier
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $28 per hour (paid weekly)
The role:You’ll be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic public facilities, ensuring they meet expected standards at all times.

Key duties include:

• Cleaning and maintaining public facilities to a high hygiene standard
• Thorough sanitisation of facilities, including fixtures, fittings, sinks, basins, mirrors, and touchpoints
• Restocking consumables within facilities as required
• Collecting and disposing of waste from public facilities
• Cleaning floors, walls, and surfaces within facilities
• Reporting damage, vandalism, or maintenance issues

What we’re looking for:

• Previous cleaning experience
• Ability to work independently
• Good physical fitness
• Must pass a drug test
• Clean criminal record
• Restricted or full driver licence
