Class 4 Driver

Class 4 Truck & Trailer Driver
We’re looking for an experienced Class 4 Truck & Trailer Driver to take on a varied delivery role based out of Rolleston. You’ll be transporting large loads across the South Island—primarily servicing the farming sector—with plenty of time behind the wheel and some hands-on work at delivery sites.
Location: Rolleston, Christchurch
Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: $30–32 per hour (paid weekly)
Your role will include:

• Driving a Hino truck & trailer (manual transmission)
• Long-distance deliveries across the South Island
• Local deliveries around Christchurch on Fridays
• Assisting with unloading tanks
• Calling customers to confirm delivery times
• Providing excellent customer service on-site

To be successful, you’ll need:

• A full Class 4 licence
• A current forklift licence
• Experience with manual trucks
• Physical fitness for occasional manual tasks
• Good communication and time management skills
• Two relevant references
• Ability to pass a clean drug test

Schedule details:

• Monday–Tuesday: South Island run
• Wednesday–Thursday: South Island run
• Friday: Local day trip
• 2 nights away per week
• 40–50 hours per week on average
