Civil Carpenters

We are seeking Civil Carpenters to join our growing team, working across multiple exciting construction sites in the Tauranga and Mount Maunganui areas.
With an ongoing pipeline of high-profile civil projects, this role offers long-term job security for the right candidate based on performance.
Your carpentry expertise will be key in supporting the foundational and structural aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and commercial developments. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Foundational Work: Construct and install formwork for foundations, including preparing footings and slabs for large-scale infrastructure projects 

• Structural Carpentry: Build and install structural timber and steel components for roads, bridges, retaining walls, and other civil structures 

• Reinforcement: Assist with the installation of rebar and other reinforcement within concrete foundations and structures 

• Formwork: Develop and place formwork for concrete pours, ensuring they are structurally sound and in accordance with project specifications 

• Material Handling: Measure, cut, and shape timber, metal, and concrete materials to precise specifications, ensuring high-quality finishes 

• Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices, maintaining a safe and productive work environment 

• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, site supervisors, and other trades to meet project deadlines and deliver quality results on all tasks 

• Maintenance: Perform routine checks on tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and readiness for daily tasks
