About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter specialising in Civil Construction/Infrastructure to join our growing team. You’ll be working on a range of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, tunnels, roads, culverts, retaining walls, and concrete formwork. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, teamwork, and a strong understanding of construction methods in civil environments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret civil construction drawings and specifications
• Construct and dismantle formwork and falsework for concrete structures
• Measure, cut, shape, and install timber, steel, and other formwork materials
• Assist in setting out and preparing foundations, including excavation and levelling
• Work safely around heavy machinery and in high-risk environments
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure project timelines and standards are met
• Adhere to site safety protocols and workplace health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in civil construction or infrastructure projects
• Proficient in formwork, falsework, and concreting practices
• Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and construction techniques
• Ability to work in physically demanding and outdoor environments
• Relevant trade qualification or certification
• Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening

Desirable:

• Confined space and working at heights tickets
• EWP (Elevated Work Platform) licence
• Experience on Tier 1 or Tier 2 infrastructure projects
