What you’ll be doing:
- Laying bricks, blocks, and pavers across commercial and residential projects
- Building walls, fences, facades, retaining walls, and architectural features
- Reading and interpreting architectural plans and technical drawings
- Measuring materials, cutting bricks, and applying mortar accurately
- Ensuring brickwork is plumb, level, and finished to a high standard
- Working alongside supervisors and trades to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping the site tidy and safe
- Proven bricklaying experience, ideally 3+ years on NZ sites
- Ability to read plans and work confidently on your own or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Current Site Safe ticket (or willingness to get one)
- Your own basic hand tools and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- A positive attitude, punctuality, and good communication
- Competitive pay: $33–$38 per hour depending on experience
- Immediate start with consistent hours (Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm)
