Fabricator/ Welder

Tradestaff Christchurch are looking for a Fabricating/Welding Superstar. 

Our client's workshop is based in Rolleston and we have several positions to fill. 

You will be experienced in mild and stainless steel fabrication and proven proficiency in welding these materials. 

You will be an EXPERT MIG welder and confident using it in all positions (overhead, flat, vertical etc)

What we're looking for: 

• Fabricating and constructing metal components - stainless and mild steel
• Performing regular and thorough quality checks throughout fabrication and installation processes
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings
• Strong ability to cross check design specs before commencing fabrication
• Hard working and efficient
• Common sense and the ability to work autonomously
• Able to listen and follow instructions accurately
• Good problem-solving skills and initiative
• Well mannered, honest, and professional
• Work well in a team environment
