Welder/Fabricator
We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our client's team in Hamilton Lake. This is a hands-on role offering a mix of workshop and site-based work, working on a variety of structural steel and fabrication projects.

What you'll be doing
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding to a high standard
- Fabricate and repair structural steel, machinery parts, and custom metal products
- Operate fabrication equipment including guillotines, press brakes, drills, grinders, and cutting tools
- Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards
- Conduct quality checks and inspections on completed work
- Carry out fitting, assembly, and installation of fabricated components
- Assist with site installations, maintenance, and repair work when required
- Troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues and recommend practical solutions
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Proven welding and fabrication experience
- Strong MIG, TIG, and Arc welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
- Experience working with structural steel and general fabrication projects
- Full Class 1 driver's licence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
