You'll be working on a variety of civil, roading, and infrastructure projects, helping set up and maintain safe work zones while working alongside experienced traffic management teams. Typical TMO duties include setting up and removing traffic management sites, directing traffic, and ensuring work sites comply with approved traffic management plans.
What You'll Be Doing
- Set up, monitor, and pack down temporary traffic management sites.
- Install and remove cones, signs, barriers, and other traffic control equipment.
- Direct vehicles and pedestrians safely through work zones.
- Carry out Stop/Go operations when required.
- Work closely with STMS personnel and site crews.
- Complete safety checks and report any hazards or incidents.
- Maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times.
- Current TMO qualification (or TTM equivalent).
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence.
- Previous traffic management experience preferred.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
- Weekly pay.
