Traffic Management Operative (TMO)

We are currently looking for experienced and reliable Ticketed TMO’s to join busy traffic management crews working across Hamilton.
If you enjoy working outdoors, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in keeping worksites safe, we want to hear from you.

Location: Hamilton Lake, Hamilton
Start date: In two weeks
Pay rate: $25–$27 per hour + benefits

What you’ll be doing:

• Setting up traffic cones, signs, barriers, and detours
• Directing traffic safely around active worksites
• Monitoring traffic flow and maintaining site safety
• Following TMPs (Traffic Management Plans)
• Communicating with STMS, supervisors, and crew members
• Inspecting traffic management equipment and signage
• Removing traffic management equipment once work is completed
• Responding to hazards or incidents on site
• Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times

What we’re looking for:

• Current TTM/TMO ticket required
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence
• Class 2 licence is a big advantage
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude
• Ability to work both day and night shifts
• Flexibility to work varying AM and PM shifts
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
