Trade Assistant Mechanic

Tradestaff are on the hunt for a Mechanical Trade Assistant to ahelp the on site engineers for one of our largest clients!

In this role you will be working as part of a cohesive team, attending breakdowns, fabrication, and welding, breaking down and rebuilding machinery and regularly swapping out facility components throughout the day. This role runs on a 0730-1630 work day Mon-Fri with the option of overtime on weekends.

As a member of the team you would have the opportunity to learn from some of the industry's leading engineers, whilst have the chance to upskill on the job!

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Mechanical Engineering industry, preferably in a similar role.

What you need for this role:

• Reliable transport
• Positive attitude
• Welding – TiG/MiG/Arc
• Expericene using workshop machinery including; lathe, milling, plasma cutter, drill press would be advantageous
• Attention to detail
• High level of H&S awareness
• Mechanically minded or educated
• Previous experience is necessary for this role
