- Big Projects: You won’t be changing lightbulbs in a broom closet. You’ll be on-site at major commercial developments and infrastructure projects that are literally reshaping Taupo.
- The Daily Grind (The Good Kind): Pulling cables, mounting brackets, and learning the dark arts of circuitry. You’ll be so busy, the clock will feel like it’s on fast-forward.
- Ongoing Work: Forget seasonal "here today, gone tomorrow" contracts. We have a pipeline of work so long it makes the Waikato River look like a puddle.
- The Culture: We work hard, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Expect a team that actually has your back, a boss who knows your name, and the kind of banter that makes the 7:00 AM start worth it.
- The Office: Your "office" views involve mountains and lakes, not cubicles and fluorescent humming.
- The Growth: We don't just want a laborer; we want a future Sparky. If you show up and show off your work ethic, we’ll help you bridge the gap toward your apprenticeship.
- EWP Ticket: You’re comfortable and competent operating scissor and boom lifts.
- Working at Heights Certification: Safety is your priority when things get vertical.
- Basic Medical/First Aid: You know how to look after yourself and your mates in an emergency.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Reliability: You show up when you say you will (with your boots on).
- Attitude: A "can-do" mindset even when it’s raining.
- Basics: A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
