Looking for a new gig this summer? Choose the opportunity that suits you, join the crew and get ready to rock.

From experienced tradies ready to take their skills on the road to students wanting to amp up their CV with practical experience, Tradestaff has opportunities across New Zealand.

Here are three ways to join the summer line-up.

Student Work 🦺
Swap the lecture theatre for the worksite and earn some decent money during your university or polytechnic break.

We’re particularly keen to hear from university engineering and civil students who need practical hours towards their qualifications.

Your summer setlist may include:

• Traffic management and civil site
• Construction and site labouring
• Warehousing and factory
• Landscaping and outdoor
• General labouring and project support

These roles are ideal for students who are physically fit, reliable and ready to get stuck in. Where possible, we may even get you working alongside your mates because every good gig needs a solid crew.

Solar Farm Project Work ⚡
Turn up the energy and plug into one of New Zealand’s growing industries.

Tradestaff is putting together crews for solar farm projects across the country. Whether you’re a qualified sparkie, experienced tradie or ready to build your site experience, there could be a place for you in the line-up.

Roles may include:

• Qualified electricians and electrical workers
• Skilled tradespeople and trade assistants
• Skilled and general labourers
• Solar panel installation support
• Materials handling, site preparation and project support

If solar work strikes the right chord, register now and tell us where you’re ready to join the tour.

Civil Contract Work 🛠️
Bring your skills to the main stage and join the crews building the roads, infrastructure and major projects that keep New Zealand moving.

Tradestaff is recruiting for civil contracts across the country, with opportunities for:

• Civil plant and machine operators
• Drainlayers, carpenters and concrete workers
• Truck drivers and workers with WTR endorsements
• Roading, drainage and earthworks crews
• Trade assistants, skilled labourers and site support workers

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or getting ready to step onto a real worksite for the first time, this could be the gig that gets your career cranking.

Why Join the Tradestaff Crew?
