About the Role
As a Tele-Remote Operator, you'll remotely operate underground LHD equipment to safely move ore and waste while supporting efficient production.
You'll monitor equipment performance and work closely with underground crews to keep material moving safely and productively.

Key Responsibilities

• Remotely operate underground LHD/Bogger equipment

• Load and move ore and waste from underground production areas

• Monitor equipment and tele-remote systems during operation

• Identify and report equipment faults or operational issues

• Follow exclusion zone and remote operating procedures

• Complete pre-starts and operational checks

• Maintain accurate production records

• Work closely with underground production and control room teams

About You
We're looking for operators with:

• Proven underground tele-remote operating experience

• Experience operating LHD/Bogger equipment

• Previous underground hard rock mining experience

• Strong understanding of tele-remote systems and procedures

• Good situational awareness and equipment knowledge

• Current Driver Licence

• Strong commitment to health and safety

• Ability to work effectively within an underground mining team

Desirable

• Underground gold or metalliferous mining experience

• Experience with Sandvik, CAT, Epiroc or similar LHD equipment

• Experience with automated or remote mining systems

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Additional underground mining tickets or qualifications
