Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour + weekly pay

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced STMS to join busy projects across Tauranga. If you’re confident managing traffic operations, strong on safety and can keep things organised when conditions change, we want to hear from you.
Location: Tauranga
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour + weekly pay
What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up and manage traffic management across active worksites
- Prepare, review and work from Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
- Monitor traffic controls and make adjustments as site conditions change
- Identify hazards and help protect workers, road users and the public
- Coordinate with construction crews, subcontractors and site supervisors
- Ensure traffic management activities meet site and safety requirements
- Help keep work areas operating safely and efficiently
- Current STMS Cat A & B qualification
- Previous traffic management or civil construction experience
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
- Class 2 NZ Driver Licence advantageous
- Clear communication and good organisational skills
- Reliable and able to stay calm in busy site environments
- Potential for ongoing work
- Variety across traffic management and civil projects
- Opportunity to put your STMS qualification to good use

- Work alongside experienced civil and construction crews
