We’re on the lookout for an experienced STMS to join the team in Hastings. If you’re confident running sites, leading crews, and keeping traffic flowing safely, this is a solid opportunity to get stuck into a variety of civil projects across the region.

Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $30–$36 per hour (weekly pay)
What you’ll be doing:

• Set up, maintain, and remove Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) sites
• Read and implement Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
• Supervise and coordinate TTM crews on-site
• Ensure all work complies with NZTA and site safety standards
• Carry out site checks and adjust traffic control as needed
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and the public
• Complete site documentation and reports

What we’re looking for:

• Current STMS qualification (Cat A/B/C preferred)
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence minimum
• Proven experience in traffic management or civil works
• Ability to lead a crew and run a site confidently
• Strong understanding of health & safety practices
