We’re looking for an experienced Steel Fixer to join a major project in Tauranga. If you’re confident working with reinforcing steel, can read plans, and take pride in getting the job done right, this could be a great opportunity to secure project work while building your skills.

What you'll be doing
- Boxing and shuttering work
- Reading architectural and engineering plans to determine steel placement
- Cutting and bending reinforcing steel and mesh
- Tying reinforcing steel to form cages and grids
- Fitting spacers and chairs to maintain correct positioning
- Positioning and securing reinforcement ready for concrete pours
- Previous steel fixing experience
- Current Site Safe
- Class 1 driver licence
- Ability to read and follow plans
- Confidence working safely and efficiently on a busy construction site
