Spray Operator

Tradestaff is currently seeking experienced Spray Operators to join our team here in the wonderful Hawkes Bay!

Responsibilities:

• Mixing different chemicals to create the correct spray mix
• Applying pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers accurately and according to instructions
• Tractor operating
• Following safety guidelines
• Keeping accurate records of chemical applications & reporting any issues or incidents to appropriate supervisor and authorities

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience sprayer operator experience
• Experience with handling and mixing chemicals
• Experience with chemical spraying and fertilizer application
• Current grow safe certificate and under the safe use of agrichemicals is beneficial
• Current forklift license is beneficial
• Minimum restricted drivers license AND your own vehicle
• The right to live and work in New Zealand
