Skilled Labourer

We're working with a well-established construction company in Queenstown that's looking for an experienced Skilled Labourer to join their team.

You'll be supporting qualified tradespeople on a busy construction project, helping keep work moving while delivering high-quality results. With additional projects already lined up, there's an excellent opportunity for consistent work for the right person.

What you'll be doing
  • Working alongside qualified tradespeople on a busy construction site
  • Using hand and power tools confidently and safely
  • Assisting with framing, formwork, concreting, fit-out and general construction tasks
  • Measuring, cutting and installing building materials
  • Site set-up and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Following site plans and health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience as a Skilled Labourer, Hammerhand, Trade Assistant or similar
  • Confidence using hand and power tools
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
  • Reliable transport is a must
  • Good understanding of site health and safety
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Two recent work references
Experience across residential, commercial or civil construction, along with WTR, Forklift, EWP, Site Safe or other industry tickets, would be an advantage, but they're not essential. If you've got solid construction experience and the right attitude, we'd still love to hear from you.
