You'll be supporting experienced tradespeople across a variety of construction sites, assisting with site preparation, material handling, tool operation and general construction duties.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist tradespeople across commercial and civil construction projects
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Carry out site preparation and general labouring duties
- Load, unload and move construction materials
- Assist with site clean-up and maintaining safe work areas
- Follow site instructions and health and safety procedures
- Support day-to-day construction activities as required
- Previous construction or skilled labouring experience
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Full NZ Driver Licence
- Reliable transport
- Physically fit with a strong work ethic
- Site Safe passport preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
- EWP and Working at Heights tickets are advantageous
- Reliable, punctual and committed to working safely
