Fence Labourer – Christchurch - Long term

Looking for a hands-on outdoor role with long-term career potential?

Tradestaff is seeking a motivated and physically fit Fencing Labourer to join a busy fencing crew working across Christchurch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, likes seeing the results of a hard day's work, and wants to build a career in the construction industry.

You'll be working primarily on new-build residential fencing projects throughout Christchurch, as part of a small team of two to three workers.

What's involved?

• Assisting with the construction of new residential fences
• Using hand and power tools
• Digging post holes and preparing fence lines
• Lifting and carrying materials
• General labouring and site duties
• Working outdoors in a small team environment

What we're looking for:

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
• Excellent physical fitness and strength (essential) 
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Clean Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check
• Experience using basic hand and power tools is an advantage but not essential
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Commitment to turning up reliably and being part of the team
