Senior Frame & Truss Detailer
Behind every great build is someone who knows how to make the plans work in the real world and that’s where you come in.
Tradestaff Christchurch is recruiting for an experienced senior Frame & Truss Detailer to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team delivering projects across Canterbury. From residential homes to light commercial developments, you’ll play a key role in turning concepts into practical, buildable solutions that keep projects moving smoothly.
If you enjoy problem-solving, working with builders, and producing accurate detailing work you can be proud of, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
Location: Christchurch
Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: $40–$45 per hour depending on experience + weekly pay
The Role This position sits right in the middle of design, manufacturing, and construction. You’ll be taking architectural and structural plans and converting them into detailed timber frame and truss packages ready for production and installation.
You’ll work alongside builders, engineers, architects, and internal teams to ensure designs are compliant, practical, and cost-effective — helping avoid issues before materials ever hit site.
Day to Day Responsibilities
We’re a trusted recruitment partner with nearly 3 decades of experience in matching skilled tradies with great opportunities. We’re also proud members of the Recruitment & Consulting Services Association (RCSA) of Australia and New Zealand, which means we’re committed to high standards and ethical practices.
