Sealant Applicator
We’re urgently looking for experienced Sealant Applicators to join a fast-paced commercial project in Hastings.
This role is suited to skilled workers who can hit the ground running — you’ll need to be quick, efficient, and able to deliver a high standard of work without supervision.
This is not an entry-level role. We need people who know what they’re doing and can keep up with a tight project schedule — there’s no time for training or mistakes.
Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay
Pay rate: $28–$34 per hour (paid weekly)

We’re urgently looking for experienced Sealant Applicators to join a fast-paced commercial project in Hastings.

Pay rate: $28–$34 per hour (paid weekly)
What you’ll be doing:
- Applying sealants using a sausage gun on large-scale commercial construction sites
- Working across expansion joints, precast panels, glazing, and exterior cladding
- Preparing surfaces including cleaning, masking, and removing old sealant
- Delivering clean, precise finishes at pace without compromising quality
- Keeping up with a fast-moving site programme and tight deadlines
- Maintaining a tidy, safe work area at all times
- Working alongside other trades on a busy commercial site
- Proven experience using a sealant (sausage) gun — this is essential
- Background in waterproofing, glazing, painting, or TQ painting highly preferred
- Ability to work fast, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Must be able to work unsupervised and manage your workload
- No room for error — strong attention to detail is critical
- Clean police record
- Must pass a drug test
- Ongoing work on a large-scale commercial project
- Exposure to a massive construction site environment
- Work with an experienced crew on a high-pressure build where your skills are valued
- Sausage gun provided if you don’t have your own
