What you'll be doing
Depending on the assignment, your duties may include:
- Assisting with the installation of long-run roofing and wall cladding
- Supporting electricians installing rooftop solar systems
- Lifting, positioning and securing roofing materials
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Preparing worksites and moving materials
- Operating a MEWP where required
- Following site safety procedures and working safely at heights
- General roofing and construction duties
We're looking for people who
- Have previous experience working within the roofing industry
- Hold current Working at Heights qualifications
- Hold a current MEWP qualification
- Can confidently work at height in a safe manner
- Can confidently use hand and power tools
- Are physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Have reliable transport
- Hold a Full NZ Driver Licence
- Can pass a drug and alcohol test
- Have a strong understanding of Health and Safety
- Are reliable, hardworking and enjoy working as part of a team
