Are you an experienced Press Operator with a strong engineering background? We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our client's manufacturing team.
About the Role:
This hands-on position involves operating and setting up press machinery while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
Your engineering knowledge will be valuable in troubleshooting equipment, carrying out machine adjustments, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press machinery safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Monitor production quality and perform routine quality checks.
• Carry out machine adjustments and basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimise downtime.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience operating press machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Engineering or mechanical trade background preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Forklift licence and welding experience advantageous but not essential.
