Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press machinery safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor production quality and perform routine quality checks.
- Carry out machine adjustments and basic maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimise downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
- Previous experience operating press machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Engineering or mechanical trade background preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Forklift licence and welding experience advantageous but not essential.
