Have you worked with post-tensioning, prestressing or stressing systems on bridges or major concrete structures?

Tradestaff is looking for experienced workers with specialist post-tensioning skills to join a major bridge project in the Auckland region, based in Silverdale.
If you've installed tendons or strands, operated hydraulic stressing equipment, carried out grouting, or worked with ducts and anchorages, we want to hear from you.
Your previous job title might have been Stressing Technician, Prestressing Worker, Structural Bridge Worker, Concreter or another specialist civil role – what matters is your genuine hands-on post-tensioning experience.

Location: Silverdale, Auckland
Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: $35.00–$40.00 per hour (Weekly pay)

What You'll Be Doing
  • Install post-tensioning tendons, strands, ducts and anchorages
  • Carry out stressing operations using hydraulic jacking equipment
  • Assist with grouting of post-tensioning systems
  • Work with multistrand and prestressing systems
  • Complete specialist work on bridge and structural concrete elements
  • Follow technical procedures, specifications and site requirements
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety
What We're Looking For
  • Genuine hands-on post-tensioning or prestressing experience
  • Experience with tendon/strand installation, stressing, hydraulic jacking or grouting
  • Bridge construction, structural concrete or major civil structures experience
  • Previous experience with a specialist post-tensioning or prestressing contractor will be highly regarded
  • Site Safe preferred – we can assist suitable candidates if required
  • Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space tickets are advantageous
  • W, T and R endorsements are advantageous
  • Applicants must currently be based in New Zealand and have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
