Drywall Fixer – Christchurch Local Work

We’re currently looking for an experienced plasterboard/drywall installer to join a busy and professional team working on a range of residential and commercial projects across Christchurch.
If you take pride in producing quality work, can work efficiently on site, and know your way around plasterboard installation, we want to hear from you.

What’s On Offer

• $35+ p/h for a highly experienced candidate  
• Consistent local Christchurch work
• Monday to Friday hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm

What You’ll Be Doing

• Measuring and cutting Plasterboard to fit walls and ceilings accurately
• Installing and securing plasterboard to timber and metal framing
• Using glue and screw fixing methods to ensure strong, long-lasting finishes
• Checking sheets are level, flush, and aligned correctly
• Repairing damaged plasterboard and patching existing walls when required
• Working alongside other trades to keep projects moving smoothly
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Fixer or drywall installer
• Ability to read plans and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• Own tools preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable working on ceilings and walls
• Site Safe is an advantage
• Full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport 
• Pass a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol test
