Night & Graveyard shift - Plastics Manufacturing

Tradestaff are on now hiring for reliable Night Shift workers for multiple roles within a plastics manufacturing facility. Previous experience working in a plastics manufacturing environment preferred but not essential.

Night Shift Machine Operator
Job hours: 11:45PM - 7:45AM
Payrate: $27/hour, rate to increase after taken into a permanent position.

Duties: Operating plastic injection moulding machines,
Monitor production of items being produced,
Inspect and quality check the products ensuring no defects,
Adjust machine settings to suit current production run.

Night Shift Powderman 
Job hours: 3:45PM - 12AM (midnight)
Payrate: $27/hour, rate to increase after taken into a permanent position.

Duties: Receiving and storing materials such as plastic resins, additives, pigments, fillers, and plastic powders,
Loading materials into hoppers, blenders, mixers, extruders, or other processing equipment.
Computer literacy (must be able to enter data into excel spreadsheets),
Basic numeracy, be able to follow batch ingredient amounts ensuring the correct amount of each product is mixed,
Monitor material flow to production line,
Weigh and mix ingredients following batch recipes,
Counterbalance forklift licence preferred but not essential,
Must be capable of lifting up to 25KG regularly.

Must be able to provide 2x references.
Be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
