About the Role
As the Mobile Plant & Workshop Supervisor, you will lead all mobile maintenance and workshop operations to ensure equipment reliability, safety and performance across the site.
You will play a key leadership role in managing maintenance execution, developing personnel capability and ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor workshop and maintenance personnel
Oversee planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance activities
Ensure mobile fleet availability and reliability targets are achieved
Maintain workshop safety, compliance and operational standards
Coordinate contractors, vendors and external service providers
Support maintenance planning and scheduling processes
Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement
Manage parts, inventory and maintenance resources
Develop team capability through training and leadership
Promote a strong safety-first and reliability-focused culture
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:
Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel, Mechanical or related discipline
Strong experience in mining, quarrying, civil or heavy industrial maintenance
Proven leadership experience within workshop or maintenance teams
Strong understanding of mobile plant reliability and maintenance systems
Excellent communication and leadership capability
Commitment to safety, performance and operational excellence
Current Driver Licence
Desirable
Previous Mining Industry Experience
Supervisor or leadership training qualifications
Experience managing mobile mining fleets
Exposure to maintenance planning systems (CMMS or similar)
