Maintenance Fitter

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.

Working within busy engineering and manufacturing environments, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing a variety of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
No two days are the same as you'll tackle breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and improvement projects that help keep production moving.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete breakdown repairs
- Fit, assemble and install mechanical components and machinery
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Assist with machinery upgrades, installations and commissioning
- Operate workshop equipment and machinery as required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safe work practices
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
- Minimum three years' experience as a Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Fitter or Fitter / Turner
- Level 4 Mechanical Trade Qualification preferred
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on industrial or manufacturing equipment
- Confident working with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Reliable, motivated and a team player
