Tradestaff is seeking an experienced Die Setter to join a well-established manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and experience setting up and maintaining production tooling to ensure efficient, high-quality output.
About the Role:
This role is for the hours of 3.45pm -12am. You'll be responsible for setting, adjusting, and maintaining dies and tooling across production machinery while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, change over, and adjust dies and tooling on production equipment
- Ensure machinery is operating efficiently and producing quality products
- Perform first-off inspections and make adjustments where required
- Troubleshoot tooling and machine issues to minimise downtime
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of dies and equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Work closely with production teams to meet daily manufacturing targets
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- 2+ years experience as a Die Setter or Tool Setter in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
- Experience working with stamping, pressing, or forming machinery
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
