Tradestaff Waikato is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Kitchen Joiner to join a busy workshop producing high-end custom kitchens, cabinetry, and interior joinery.
This is a workshop-based role where quality comes first. You'll be working alongside an experienced team, building custom joinery from plans through to finished product, ready for installation.
Location: Waikato
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Rate: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour (on wages), depending on your experience and references.

What you'll be doing:
- Manufacturing custom kitchens and cabinetry.
- Assembling cabinets and joinery components.
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings.
- Operating woodworking and joinery machinery safely.
- Cutting, edging, drilling, and fitting hardware.
- Completing finishing work to a high standard.
- Preparing completed joinery for delivery and installation.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Joiner, Cabinetmaker, or experienced Joiner.
- Confidence reading and working from plans.
- Experience operating woodworking machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- Your own basic trade tools.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work well within a team.
- Full Class 1 driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- $30.00 to $34.00 per hour (on wages).
- Immediate start available.
- Indoor workshop work, rain or shine.
