Tradestaff is looking for a skilled Joiner to work with reputable clients in Christchurch. If you’re confident producing quality joinery from plans through to final finish and take pride in accurate, well-crafted work, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to use.

Location:
Sockburn, Christchurch
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $32–$38 per hour + weekly pay

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manufacture and assemble cabinetry, fittings, and joinery components to specification
  • Read plans, drawings, and cutting lists to produce accurate finished work
  • Measure, cut, machine, and prepare timber and sheet materials
  • Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely
  • Fit hardware and complete detailed sanding, finishing, and final adjustments
  • Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
  • Complete onsite installation work when required
What We're Looking For
  • Recognised Joinery qualification or solid proven experience in the trade
  • Strong practical knowledge of joinery manufacturing and construction methods
  • Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and measurements accurately
  • Confidence operating woodworking machinery and trade tools
  • High standard of craftsmanship with excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable transport and a dependable approach to work
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
