Tradestaff Dunedin is looking for skilled Qualified Joiners for a range of opportunities across Dunedin. If you’re experienced in both workshop joinery and on-site installation and enjoy varied, hands-on work, we want to hear from you.
Location: Dunedin City, Dunedin
Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour
What you could be doing
- Fabricating, assembling and installing a range of wooden furnishings and joinery
- Working on doors, door frames, windows, kitchens, cabinetry and other joinery
- Carrying out joinery associated with new construction, repairs and maintenance
- Completing work on flooring, roofing, skirting and ceilings as required
- Using woodworking machinery including jigsaws, planers, jointers, routers and tenoners
- Working confidently with hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment
- Safely operating and maintaining a range of joinery and carpentry tools and equipment
- Qualified and experienced Joiners, with proof of qualification required
- At least 2 years’ industry experience in joinery, carpentry or construction
- Have experience working in a CNC machine operator role
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Confidence working independently as well as part of a team
- A clean full driver licence, reliable transport and a clean site record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- B Solid software experience and/or a forklift licence would be advantageous but are not essential
