Tradestaff is looking for an experienced and qualified Joiner to join a busy operation in Central Queenstown. We’re after someone with strong practical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to produce quality joinery from initial plans through to the finished product.
Location: Central Queenstown, Queenstown
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $32–$38 per hour + weekly pay

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced and qualified Joiner to join a busy operation in Central Queenstown. We’re after someone with strong practical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to produce quality joinery from initial plans through to the finished product.

Pay rate: $32–$38 per hour + weekly pay
What You'll Be Doing
- Manufacture and assemble custom joinery to plans and specifications
- Measure, cut, machine, and prepare materials with precision
- Operate workshop machinery, power tools, and specialist joinery equipment
- Fit hardware, fixtures, and components to completed units
- Complete finishing work to a high standard
- Carry out on-site installation and fitting where required
- Check completed work for accuracy, dimensions, and overall quality
- Recognised joinery qualification and proven hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of joinery construction methods and techniques
- Confident reading plans, drawings, and detailed specifications
- Skilled using workshop machinery, hand tools, and power tools
- Excellent measuring skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Experience with both workshop manufacturing and on-site installation
- Reliable, safety-focused, and capable of producing quality work independently
- Potential for long-term work opportunities
